Last week's postponed Strictly is on tonight at 7pm. Apparently Rose & Giovanni will be reprising their winning routine.

I had my photo taken with Johannes and Graziano last February, they`re both very nice, pleasant young men.

Joseanne

Fleur and Molly get a rotten bottom two ride between them each week! I like them both.

So do I, but it’s quite obvious that some judges don’t feel the same.

I wondered where you were Sweetpeasue.

gillgran Sun 27-Nov-22 19:19:48

Yes, the right decision that Ellie should leave.
For me, this week's show/dancing wasn't as good as previous weeks.
Although Hamza is my favourite, his dance wasn't his best.

Overall, I'm still enjoying Strictly, as always a great fan.

Sweetpeasue Sun 27-Nov-22 18:43:16

Well--I bl***y missed it!
Didn't factor in the bloomin footie.
Turned it on and caught Fleur in dance off.
Right for Ellie to go so pleased about that. Oh it was emotional I agree Sparklefizz he'd make lovely friend.
So now to catch up on BBCIplayer.
Derrr.

PoppyFlower Sun 27-Nov-22 18:41:20

I agree! Johannes would make a lovely friend.

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Nov-22 18:36:43

I'd like a Johannes of my own - he's such a kind and caring person, and seems very understanding. He'd be a great best friend.

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Nov-22 18:35:33

Yes, Ellie came across as very genuine.

Calendargirl Sun 27-Nov-22 18:33:17

Hate all the ‘gushing’ at the end usually, but tonight Ellie was so sincere in what she said about Johannes, I cried too!

(She was definitely the worst though).

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Nov-22 18:30:03

Oh dear - I'm crying along with them now.

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Nov-22 18:19:28

Me too ... and ditto Johannes blush

Millie22 Sun 27-Nov-22 18:15:27

Poor Fleur but we do get to see them dance again and I find Vito very distracting 😊

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Nov-22 18:10:43

Fleur???

Clawdy Sun 27-Nov-22 16:44:50

Yes, I hate the way they stand for some and not others, it's very unfair.

Charleygirl5 Sun 27-Nov-22 12:48:11

I totally agree, Motsi and Shirley should remain impartial and not stand, irrespective of how much they enjoyed a performance.

If Strictly returns next year they should not be on the judging panel and none of this nonsense of pretending they are there Saturday and Sunday evening. If we received the results the same night there would be no more spoilers.

tickingbird Sun 27-Nov-22 11:49:21

Hamza is good but last night’s dance didn’t suit him. His big, muscular legs did look like a prop forwards although the top half was great. I totally agree with Anton and Craig but Shirley and Mitzi were ecstatic. Very strange and quite egregious favouritism.

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Nov-22 11:30:04

Calendargirl Completely agree with everything you've said.

Calendargirl Sun 27-Nov-22 11:28:42

I am really fed up seeing Shirley and Motsi, but particularly Shirley, as Head Judge, giving standing ovations.

It must be demoralising if you have done a decent dance and when you finish, looking across at the Judges’ table and realising they are still sitting, immediately know you are not going to get a highish mark.

I am still amazed at the standing ovations, 10’s and the absolutely OTT praise they both heaped on Hamza’s not very good Argentine tango.

Talk about unbiased, impartial judging?

Not this series. They may as well present him the Glitterball now and have done with it.

Zoejory Sun 27-Nov-22 11:27:28

That's just made me laugh 😃

Sara1954

I haven’t been a big Will fan, but I thought his Charlton was fab.

Bobby or Athletic? gringrin

Mollygo Sun 27-Nov-22 10:40:45

I agree about Ellie, Casdon. I thought she might have gone before.
All the same, only the money involved would make me do Strictly, knowing that people already think I’m not good enough.

Casdon Sun 27-Nov-22 10:24:41

I can’t help thinking that Ellie would go home anyway though, she was pretty poor this week, and I doubt Kym would have been as bad. If she is next week she will no doubt go.

Sara1954 Sun 27-Nov-22 10:22:22

Kim19 Sun 27-Nov-22 10:21:31

Surely Kym can't get a free pass into the next round at this crucial stage of the competition? Oh, I know she can't be blamed for being poorly but perhaps no eliminations this week and two next? I realise schedules have to be met.
