Last week's postponed Strictly is on tonight at 7pm. Apparently Rose & Giovanni will be reprising their winning routine.

Casdon Sat 12-Nov-22 20:42:12

Dance off I’m guessing Kym and Ellie. Both lacked sparkle tonight for me.

Fleurpepper Sat 12-Nov-22 20:46:05

It will be dreadful if Tony is not the one to go.

Sparklefizz Sat 12-Nov-22 20:46:40

Pleeeease let it be Tony in the dance off! If not, he should do the decent thing and retire.

I voted for Molly, Fleur and Tyler, but it was very hard to choose. I thought Ellie's Charleston was full of fun... wasn't so keen on Kym's dance.

Sweetpeasue Ha Ha, it was on a makeshift dance floor on the beach, under the stars in Antigua.

One of the best nights of my life ❤️❤️❤️

I can’t see it not being Tony in the dance off and if he is, there’s no chance the judges would keep him.
But since it’s a competition run by public votes, which it is, and he has sufficient votes, why should he retire?
It would be rude to his supporters and We would be saying some members of the public aren’t allowed an opinion.

Fleurpepper Sat 12-Nov-22 21:13:36

But it is a dance competition!

(but yes, I know).

Charleygirl5 Sat 12-Nov-22 21:36:59

Fleur and Mollie should not be in the dance off. It should be Tony but nobody stands out to join him.

Joseanne Sat 12-Nov-22 22:33:12

Fleur, Molly and Hamza for me.
I think Kym and maybe Tyler in the bottom two. His posture was wooden.
Tony could be in danger as Arsenal enal were playing tonight at the same time so the fans would have been busy watching!

Joseanne Sat 12-Nov-22 22:42:17

Watching Arsenal I mean. (They won.)

Sara1954 Sat 12-Nov-22 22:45:12

Great dancing tonight, but irritated by all the back story stuff, just not interested.
Usually dislike the rumba, but thought Mollie was stunning, really imaginative routine, I voted for Mollie, Fleur and Hamza.
I guess Tony needs to go, but he is entertaining.

Sweetpeasue Sat 12-Nov-22 22:49:55

I feel it 'should' be Ellie in the dance off with Tony but whoever would be in dance off opposite Tony would surely go through to the next week.

Calendargirl Sun 13-Nov-22 07:46:23

I thought Tyler’s performance was not good for the second week.

Should be him and Tony in the dance off, with Tony going.

If Tony gets voted through, could be Ellie or Kym either of them.

Calendargirl Sun 13-Nov-22 07:53:41

Agree about the back story stuff Sara, I’m also not interested in it.

I’m sure Will has emotional memories of his dad, but can’t help thinking he is an actor after all, and some of the tears and angst seem overplayed.

Stopped me from voting for him tonight.

Grannynannywanny Sun 13-Nov-22 07:59:55

I agree Calendargirl. I feel Tyler was ahead of the others right from the start but he’s not progressed any further in the past 2 weeks. In the meantime others have played catch up.

Tony is entertaining but should be in the dance off at this stage. I’m not confident that will happen.

I loved Fleur’s dance.

It stopped me voting for him too.

I wish the BBC would be more transparent about the voting. When they announce the results, 'in no particular order' it seems this year as though the two bottom contestants immediately get a huge sympathy vote, and better dancers are forced out.The cynic in me says that it is a demonstration against the judges: 'what do they think they know, this is a popularity contest'.
I have absolutely no idea who will win; there is no clear favourite, from a pool of much improved dancers but no one outstanding.

DanniRae Sun 13-Nov-22 09:13:32

Mr R is going nuts about Tony getting through and totally getting on my nerves - I'm thinking of not watching the result show until Monday morning when he is still in bed!

Nannylovesshopping Sun 13-Nov-22 09:38:36

So disappointed with Hamza music, it’s a wonderful piece of
music, totally ruined by tonight’s version, Hamza was amazing
but his celeb partner out danced him, this is not about you love!

Joseanne Sun 13-Nov-22 10:13:45

Yes, she was somewhat wild!

Mollygo Sun 13-Nov-22 11:01:21

Agree, but Hamza wasn’t at his best in this dance, a lot of posturing and less dancing, so his partner was more noticeable.

Sparklefizz Sun 13-Nov-22 19:09:09

And yet he got 3 tens! I couldn't see why myself .... but then what do I know?

Mollygo Sun 13-Nov-22 19:32:26

Lovely opening dance.

Sweetpeasue Sun 13-Nov-22 19:34:39

Oh no. Tyler. He hasn't had a good 2 weeks but I didn't want him in dance off. Awww.

Sweetpeasue Sun 13-Nov-22 19:37:22

Lovely opening dance.

Oh yes it was really elegant and the tribute to our late Queen was so moving.

Sparklefizz Sun 13-Nov-22 19:42:29

The opening dance was so moving, and beautiful with those gorgeous red poppy dresses!

Can't believe Tyler is in the dance off! Yikes!
