Part of me thinks 'good for her for daring' and part of me thinks 'if you are large, or have physical features which are less than flattering, probably best to dress in a way that 'helps' rather than make it much more prominent.
Most of me thinks "wear what you like, girl". You don't need any "help".
Yes, get it. And yet- I am on the large size, and not ashamed of it- but I do not go around with mid-rift showing or short skirts or shorts, or low tops, exposing all. No-one wants to see it, really. And if I did, I would accept that comments made are partly or my making. Out of respect for myself and also for others, tbh.
I find your response difficult to understand Fleurpepper.
If people make negative comments about you, that's not of your making, it's that this person making comments is a rude and insensitive person. You can wear what you like, and if I don't like it, tough on me.
Karen and Jayde were wearing almost identical outfits. Haven't heard anybody criticising Karen for what she wore. So its all based on subjective judgements of what people think is suitable attire for a "fat" person.
Jayde, Ellie S and Hamza (sp?) are showing viewers that people who don't have standard "attractive" bodies are as entitled as anyone to dance and to enjoy themselves.
