Last week's postponed Strictly is on tonight at 7pm. Apparently Rose & Giovanni will be reprising their winning routine.

Yes, you are probably right!

volver Sun 09-Oct-22 08:53:06

I'm really not following you from thread to thread, but you do seem to feel a need to tell us as often as you can that you think Jayde looked awful.

Says a lot about you, I think.

Clawdy Sun 09-Oct-22 08:28:57

I literally cried laughing at Tony's dance. Loved Tyler. Jayde looked awful, and was ridiculously over marked, as always.

I must be one of the few who doesn’t like the Charleston, no matter how well it’s danced. And it seems to be one that’s performed frequently.

Must be just me, but I find it all a bit lack lustre so far, despite some excellent dancing.

I don’t like the speciality weeks, such as last night and particularly Hallowe’en, when it’s all about the make up and costumes.

Perhaps after all these years I’m getting a bit tired of the shrieks, Tess and her forced laughter, and the judges with their see/saw voting.

Hellogirl1 Sat 08-Oct-22 23:35:12

Jayde was very brave, appearing in that get-up! I wouldn`t have dared.

BigBertha1 Sat 08-Oct-22 22:30:54

Great Charleston..flash bang wallop. Everything else rather dull.

Sara1954 Sat 08-Oct-22 22:25:41

Tyler is our favourite, closely followed by Will.
But tonight I broke my rule of not voting for the worst dancer because they’re entertaining. I just have to see more of Tony

Callistemon21 Sat 08-Oct-22 22:15:55

Actually, it's very rarely au naturel!

I think Motsi is trying to get an award for the most outrageous hairstyle. This week it looked like topiary from someone's garden.

I've voted for Helen but also Will was really good. Strange scoring this week but at least Shirley had something good to say to Fleur at last.

Yes, it did look like topiary and was scrawped back, it looked really painful.
Very strange.
I much prefer Motsi's hair au naturel.

That was a great evening’s entertainment. I loved Helen and Gorka’s Viennese waltz. Will and Nancy were fabulous. Tony and Katya were very entertaining. I think he’s safe for another week.

I think Matt&Nadiya and Ellie&Johannes will be in the dance off.

It’s difficult. For energy and enjoyment I thought Jayde and Karen did well, but such flat footed and stompy dancing would have got 4s.
Diane and Tyler were my favourites.

Sparklefizz Sat 08-Oct-22 20:47:26

Snap Joseanne. I voted the same.
What a fabulous show and it's only week 3.

Joseanne Sat 08-Oct-22 20:44:29

Molly, Tyler, Will get my votes.
Matt tried a lot harder, but I still think he will be in danger.

gillgran Sat 08-Oct-22 20:42:19

Enjoyed tonight's movie-week, I'm still a big Strictly fan, always have been.
I look forward to the results show tomorrow.

I agree that Claudia's trousers looked a little odd!!

Sweetpeasue Sat 08-Oct-22 20:42:05

Some lovely performances tonight. Very enjoyable show. Fleur's American Smooth was beautiful. Will was great. For me though Tyler has something special and unique. Imo Jayde and Karen's dance so overmarked.

Sparklefizz Sat 08-Oct-22 20:41:41

Robert Webb did the Flashdance better for Comic Relief.

Zoejory Sat 08-Oct-22 20:34:27

It's from the film, Flashdance. Leotards.

aggie Sat 08-Oct-22 20:31:54

Why dance in a swim costume !

Sparklefizz Sat 08-Oct-22 20:27:35

Sorry, the "not for me" comment was re Tony being "great fun".

Yes, Joseanne poignant because of the loss of Olivia N-J. And that's such a beautiful song ....

rafichagran Sat 08-Oct-22 20:27:17

Tony was funny I think he is safe.

Sparklefizz Sat 08-Oct-22 20:26:23

No, not for me!

Joseanne Sat 08-Oct-22 20:25:56

Helen's dance was tinged with sadness for me, but beautiful.

OMG - Tony - the most UN-sexy thing I've ever seen!

But great fun!

Oh yes. Made me smile all the way through.
