The "Billy plays" Kenneth Branagh

Maybee, it's the first thing I ever saw K Branagh in. I thought his acting was superb, as were most of the other characters.
I'm watching on iplayer.
It's very true to how life was in that area for many people at that time.

I caught part of one of them when I was channel hopping and wondered what it was. I don’t remember them first time round. My first memory of Kenneth Branagh was in The Fortunes of War with Emma Thompson ( which I loved).

Just watched the first play. Was as good as the first time. I had forgotten the fear people lived with, especially young men.
Very evocative of living in Belfast.

I do hope they dont feel dated

I’ll look them out nadateturbe, thanks, we watched the film 71 a few weeks ago, that was enlightening.

They were fantastic I remember them well.In fact if anyone mentions Kenneth Branagh thats my first thought .I do hope they dont feel dated as they were so good .I'll certainly be watching
