It is the true story of King Seretse and his wife Ruth Williams in Botswana.

It’s a wonderful film. With a bit of dramatic tweaking of course but not too much.

I think it’s one of the great love stories of the 20th century ?

He became King of the Bamangwato people at the age of 4.

That was there was such opposition to his marriage to an English woman.
