I can’t see another thread so apologies if there is
After years of not bothering with “I m a celebrity get me out of here” I decided to have a look as I like Boy George
And I have to say I m in now so will need to keep watching this ridiculously daft programme even if it’s just to combat the depressing days
Anyway what do you all think ?

Callistemon21 Sat 19-Nov-22 22:31:20

We've hardly ever watched it before so wondered if it's always this bitchy and back-biting?

Few of them come out of it well.

Joseanne Sat 19-Nov-22 22:26:09

I agree Smileless2012 this year's show has something sinister about it, doesn't it?
I doubt whether Matt would actually choose to be friends with any of them, but at least he isn't being judgemental like others.

Sara1954 Sat 19-Nov-22 22:24:07

Yes, I too hope Sue goes tomorrow, her and Mike are really annoying.
I think Jill and Scarlette seem the nicest of them, and Owen seems like a very genuine person.

Smileless2012 Sat 19-Nov-22 22:21:48

Oh well done Seann. He obviously felt uncomfortable sticking up for Matt but did so anyway.

Matt seems to get nearly everyone's back up regardless of what he does or doesn't do Joseanne.

I can't ever remember being made to feel so uncomfortable watching one of my all time favourite programmes.

They really don't have any self awareness do they. Their bitchiness is toe curling.

5 more votes for Matt.

I do hope that Sue is evicted tomorrow. She's a bit awful 😖

Joseanne Sat 19-Nov-22 22:15:09

Sue is getting to be a pain.
I feel better about Sean tonight, he is hopefully ready to move on to a better place.
I think Matt will get people's backs up if he takes extra food.

Callistemon21 Sat 19-Nov-22 22:12:03

merlotgran

Sue is far too ready to have a good old bitch about Matt behind his back.

Isn't she!
Then playing games and laughing.

I thought BG and Chris were the worst but she's up there with them.

Sara1954 Sat 19-Nov-22 22:09:48

Good for Sean, thought he was really brave to stick up for Matt.
Please let’s get rid of Sue next.

I can barely watch Seann, he is so unnerving.

Callistemon21 Sat 19-Nov-22 22:02:44

Yes, me too and he did it very pleasantly.
The others are two-faced.

Aveline Sat 19-Nov-22 21:58:25

I really liked how Seann stood up for Matt when all the others were slagging him off. It's hard to disagree with everyone else but he did.

Smileless2012 Sat 19-Nov-22 16:59:29

Well Matt gets our 5 app votes to stay again tonightgrin.

Sara1954 Sat 19-Nov-22 15:26:41

Maddyone
Again I am in agreement, I fully expected to like Mike, but not so sure now.
My favourites are Jill and Scarlette, but I don’t mind Baba, Matt, or Owen.
Not really feeling the love for Sue either.

maddyone Sat 19-Nov-22 14:32:05

I don’t like Mike Tindall at all now, and yet I expected to like him. I like Jill, Owen, and Scarlette.

maddyone Sat 19-Nov-22 14:28:34

It’s because unintelligent people are determined to blame one person for everything that went wrong in the pandemic which is obviously ridiculous, because we have collective responsibility cabinet government in Britain, and they are taking all their frustrations out on Matt. I regard it as calculated bullying now. Not at all pleasant, and doesn’t show those who are doing it in a very good light.

Galaxy Sat 19-Nov-22 14:21:59

I think they might base it on the type of jobs people do as well, although not pleasant, cleaning the loo will take much less time than cooking for example.

Joseanne Sat 19-Nov-22 14:20:27

Thanks Galaxy.

Chestnut Sat 19-Nov-22 14:20:10

I think Matt is not only extremely intelligent but is able to cope with the dynamics of the camp in a way the others can't. They are mostly getting out of control, emotional, anxious, stressed, whereas he still seems to be fully in control of himself and not showing any emotion, which is what really annoys George! 😂

Galaxy Sat 19-Nov-22 14:18:17

Someone always has to do 2 jobs. It's happened in every job allocation. It made sense for it to be him as he had just had a break from jobs.

Joseanne Sat 19-Nov-22 14:14:06

lack of manners
I hadn't thought of it like that, but it's true.

Joseanne Sat 19-Nov-22 14:11:43

What I don't understand is the over reaction to anything Matt gets wrong .... the bird poo, the shaving bowl, the incorrect Walkman guess ..... yet how underwhelmed and indifferent they are to him when he wins all those stars for dinner.
Why did Mike and Sue give him 2 jobs when everyone else got one? I missed that bit. Matt doesn't complain, he takes it on the chin. I think he wants to be liked, which he obviously is to an extent by voters because he's still in there.

Sara1954 Sat 19-Nov-22 14:06:39

Maddyone
I agree, but I think Matt will end up coming out of it well, while some of the others BG in particular, will find their images very tarnished.

maddyone Sat 19-Nov-22 13:44:25

I like Matt Hancock and am fed up of the hate fest in the camp. Poor behaviour and lack of manners in my opinion. Boy George’s behaviour last night was appalling, and talk about the pan calling the kettle black! Hate fest from the man who was convicted of handcuffing a man to a radiator and beating him with a chain! You couldn’t make it up!

Impressive.
