Boy George would not have been found guilty and served time unless there was sufficient evidence of wrongdoing. He seems to be playing the victim of some kind of miscarriage of justice!

Many people fall out of love with their present partner and in love with someone else. I think it was honest of Matt to say that although I don't agree with the way he treated his wife and children.

Boy George is such a liar. He was responsible for his actions. I'm sure the others will see through him.

MH’s wife probably has a huge phone bill and repetitive strain injury from all the votes she’s cast to have him doing trials.

Seriously though, I feel for his 3 children. I watched it with my 16 yr old granddaughter at the weekend . She commented that his children will be mortified having to face their peers every morning at school. She said the programme is the hot topic of conversation during break time at her school .

I think it was a step too far for him to say he’d fallen in love. He was so busy trying to justify his actions I wonder if he stopped to think how it would affect his wife and 3 children to hear that comment.

That explains why Matt is so good.

Regarding the trials, there have been at least two where they have to go under water to retrieve the stars. I really don't like that. Unless they can stay very calm this will always be absolutely horrible and virtually impossible (as seen with Moyles). Also, the water looks filthy, full of animal poo and bacteria. I would not be happy going under that. It's okay to do things under the water, but not to have your face under the water.

When they sign up for it, what are they expecting? They can take a good guess at what might be expected of them.

BG comes over as spiteful and petulant, he did not like Scarlett asking him about prison, yet he is at liberty to ask Matt anything and try to humiliate him. If he hadn’t done what he went to prison for and tagged , why hasn’t he sued for wrongful arrest and imprisonment? Are we all stupid? C Moyles, constantly moans, mainly about Matt, the only one that dies the tribals and brings him food, I know which one I would choose if I needed help, certainly not sorry all the time. Mike not very pc! The only likeable one who is down to earth is Jill and maybe Scarlett. Charlene ok. So far Matt stands out. It must be awful for his wife and he should be in parliament though, but it’s shown his strengths and committment to things he is interested in. No one knows what goes on inside a marriage and when you’re married to anyone high profile it must be truly dreadful the public humiliation you would feel when things go wrong. . Matt should be mindful of that, his wife, however he feels now, was with him a long time and they have three children together, she deserves respect.

I don't think he's a 'smart cookie'. He's just well educated and polite. As Sue said, he's a numbers man plonked down with a mass of 'creatives.'

Joseanne, I agree, I can’t say he was my favourite politician, well to be honest, I don’t have a favourite politician.
But he’s conducting himself very well in the jungle, which is more than you can say for some of the others.

Anyway tricky Matt has done what he wanted he’s the leader of the gang obviously very good at lots of physical things so good for all the tasks, popular because he’s brought home the bacon

But more than just the physial stuff if you watch closely Bluebelle. In two of the trials he used his mental abilities to get the correct answers and win. A lot of it is about tactics and working stuff out. He is also the first to congratulate people and say well done.
I am not impressed with Matt outside the jungle, but it's only fair to give someone credit where credit is due. And bringing home the bacon is exactly what the whole show pivots on.
(For those who aren't watching, "pivot" is the word Matt explained politicians use.)

I wondered how the victim in the boy George case felt when he denied any responsibility last night.

That’s what I thought, the assault happened it went to court and BG went to prison.

I try not to judge people to harshly but I am struggling with BG for all his Buddhist meditations he is not coming over as very genuine or empathetic.

Surely you don't get sent to prison for x number of months without there having been evidence that you did do it? He's a liar.

His relationship with Jon Moss always made me feel a bit uncomfortable
