Fingers slipped- was wondering if I could start watching the series now bearing in mind it’s been on for many years?

Love this soap. Good stories - it is the GP practice we would all like to have joned. Main problem is that is has far too many breaks, Christmas for about 4- 2 weeks, Easter 2-4 weeks, Summer 6-8 weeks.

To start watching, you will only have a few episodes before it enters its christmas break. You will soon get to know the different characters. It is just finishing a story on vaccine regusniks, is in the middle of a story on Universal Credit, working people off sick and debt,. Each Episode has some of whatever is the current serial stroies, and some which is stand-alone.

We enjoy Doctors, entertaining afternoon viewing. Occasionally branches out into rather silly off the wall episodes but it's generally enjoyable.

I live it. It's only short episodes and really easy to slip into watching after the news. Even DH is a bit hooked.
