I've noticed that some websites are restricted to areas - and not available here - annoying when you've simply followed a link from one that is.

Crikey. I hope this won't come into effect the other way round. I don't know what I'd do without Radio 4.

It could be something to do with royalties. We couldn’t buy music downloads from USA last year but suddenly they are available and I am sure it was to ensure that the royalties are paid.

I think /hope that it’s probably a glitch rather than anything sinister.

It’s fairly recent. I always shared listening with a friend in Australia, but then I got the same message as you.

I was recently talking to my sister in British Colombia and she told me to put “radio. garden” into my browser and I would be able to listen to the same local radio station that she does. She asked me what station I tune into here in England so she could do the same. But this is the message I got on my computer screen. Big Brother restricting what I can listen to?
