Thanks for that information about Tom’s mum Terri I agree about transferring the latest book to the screen, tricky.

Like the book the dramatisation of Troubled Blood is the stand out amongst all of them so far. I binged on the final two episodes last night, the pairing of Holiday Grainger and Tom Burke in the two leads couldn't be better imo wonderful casting there which is not always the case once readers have formed an opinion of what characters should look like in their mind's eye.

Avid viewers like me might be interested to know that the actress who plays the older version of the practice nurse in Troubled Blood, Anna Calder-Marshall is actually Tom Burke's mum in real life.

I'm currently reading The Ink Black Heart wondering how that will transfer to the screen given there are a lot of on line conversations, will have to wait and see.

Who bothers listening to him talk?? Swoon, Swoon.

According to the books, he’s very overweight, a heavy smoker and drinker, eats loads of junk food, a mardy looking so and so, noticeable problems with his prosthetic leg, lives in a poky flat above his office, and although the business is doing well now, used to be hand to mouth money wise in the past.

Despite all that, the ladies can’t resist him.

Think he must be great in bed!

The books are brilliant. Am revisiting them through the audiobooks on Audible.

Watched episode 1 on the recommendation of a friend. Now I’m a fan. Must watch earlier series on catch up on those evenings when there’s nowt else on.

I have just emerged from a binge watch right up to the end.
No spoilers though!

Loved it! Off to a very good start. If he packed on a few more pounds, would Robyn still fancy him though🤔? If she didn’t want him, I’d have him…….

We enjoyed it too, on tonight part two.

Enjoyed the first episode. Must be a couple of years since I read the book, and can’t remember the whole story, but it kept coming back.

Cormoran as gorgeous as ever, as played by Tom Burke, but he really needs to pack on a few more pounds as he is not resembling how the character really looks.

Am sure in the first series or so he was much bulkier, but now looks positively svelte compared to how he is described in the books.

More like Robbie Coltrane looked in ‘Cracker’ would be a more realistic image.

Never heard of the books but might watch this if others reccommend.
