I must remember to record that. I have family here on Boxing Day, so will miss it as it is broadcast, but I love Detectorists - thanks for the heads up.

I love Detectorists too. I listened to an Ian Hislop podcast about the unification of England and he talked about the programme a lot ( along with chatting to Bernard Cornwall and (sigh) Michael Wood). He was saying how much information can be found from old coins. I assume the legend that is Simon Farnaby will be in it, too. And there’s a Ghosts Christmas special, too.

I love Detectorists.
I heard that they had to find a new village hall as the original had been replaced with a new building.

Detectorists makes me feel happy.

And Alice Roberts has a cameo in it!

He had treatment for a hormone deficiency as a child which has probably contributed to him looking older than his 51 years.
Also he's probably knackered after the last couple of years just like the rest of us.

Just 'discovered' this! Oh the scenery! I love Suffolk countryside. Takes me right back.

I was shocked tbh at how he now looks.
He seemed fine though, just extra thin and lined. Toby Jones doesn’t seem to age on the other hand.
Me and DP really enjoyed it, wish they would do another series.

Hadn’t fancied this before but watched the Boxing Day programme and absolutely loved it. Hope there’ll be more.
