Oh, I ended the last thread.

Oh, a 9 from Craig

Callistemon21 Sat 17-Dec-22 22:01:34

Oh, just caught up - we had a long-distance phone call!

🤔 Not the best dancer and I'm surprised.

But a popular vote for a lovely man with pigeon toes!

Calendargirl Sat 17-Dec-22 21:59:38

Fleur best on the night.

Helen most improved and embracing the ‘ethos’ of Strictly.

Hamza the worst on the night, but he won.

But it’s just a dance competition, as you say Volver, and the result makes not a scrap of difference to any of us.

La la la. Fingers in ears.

Strictly makes me happy.

I won't be put off by curmudgeons.

Some folk revel in being miserable.

Its just a dance competition on the telly. Be happy.🥳

Well done to Hamza 🪩 🕺🏼 🥳

Don’t be so hard on yourself. You can be happy if you choose to. Maybe turn over a new leaf In the new year.

I loved the celebrities' dance, and some should have been in the final.
Craig said, Some dance the steps, but some dance the music, and Hamza danced the music. It was all about interpretation.

Alioop

I know they danced much better than him, it was his personality helped him lift the glitter ball.

It should be Strictly Come Personality then and not dancing. Will and Tyler were better.

Yes thanks Sparklefizz Saturdays wont be the same without Strictly. Great series.

No way!! What a fix

How could it be a fix, it’s a public vote? He was the people’s choice, so well done Hamza.

Alioop Sat 17-Dec-22 21:42:03

Joseanne Sat 17-Dec-22 21:42:00

Yes, "oh well" sums it up for me.

Thanks for a lovely thread everyone, and to Sparklefizz for hosting it.

Lomo123 Sat 17-Dec-22 21:41:35

I loved him, plenty people seemed to agree and voted for him.

Sweetpeasue Sat 17-Dec-22 21:41:30

Hamza's philosophical words really got to me after he won the trophy.

We got to see some wonderful dance routines in this final.
I think we all have multiple reasons for who we vote for.
All were worthy finalists IMO.

Whether he’s a genuine guy or not, he was the worst on the night and those women were much better than him. It’s not fair to them.

Sparklefizz Sat 17-Dec-22 21:39:05

Sorry but he wasn't the best dancer by any means. The other 3 were all much better than him this evening. Helen had never danced before either and look how she blossomed.

Oh well.......

Excellent winner. He's such a lovely man. No dance experience. Modest and humble. Well done Hamza

A worthy winner!

Well done Hamza. He was brilliant.

He was.

Alioop Sat 17-Dec-22 21:37:25

He's such lovely, genuine guy and that's what helped him tonight.

Well done Hamza. He was brilliant.

But he wasn’t.
