over the top gushed up so not for me.

found nothing to grab my interest. what has happened to christmas tv?

I normally enjoy strictly as does Mr tl. We watched the first two, including Larry Lamb and I found the gushing, over the top praise for what was mediocre dancing at best was just too much. Christmas Special or not genuine, constructive criticism should be part of the show not awarding higher points just because they can even when not earned. We decided not to watch any more.

I enjoyed the Christmas special but could have done without so much "fluff and waffle" padding out the show.

I think Tess said they had only had a week to practise - surely that can't be true?

Some good dancing, but much as I like Bruno, singing is not his main talent. Like Charleygirl I was expecting to see him dance.

I agree with you, Grandmadinosaur, I enjoyed the Strictly Christmas special. I do love anything Strictly, (& I have a soft spot for Kai.)

If Larry Lamb had entered this 20 years ago he would have given those youngsters a run for their money.
He looked so suave.

I expected to see Bruno dancing. I agree re the winner- I wondered for how long they were practising because on the whole I thought that they were pretty good.

I have had my fill of Strictly and I do not want to see it for many months and hopefully with a few changes and that includes two of the judges. That pair are not impartial.
