Silly, but entertaining with some catchy tunes and maybe more than a grain of truth “You’re always gonna need an Andrew” tcrgrin

We switched it off, just couldn't watch cringeworthy.

Going to watch it later smile

It was better than I expected. ‘Hit the nail’ in many parts and the music was good.

We enjoyed it, it was surprisingly direct and rather funny,
Andrew (‘the favourite son’) doesn’t come out of it well. It will be very embarrassing

Is it just me, or does it seem a little bit yuk?
I haven't seen it, but just the thought of it is , - yukky.

I spent the first half trying to place the actor playing Andrew. It's Gordon from Two Doors Down grin

Otherwise, I found it a bit rubbish, really. I had hoped for something like Jerry Springer the Opera, which was excellent, but this wasn't it by a long chalk.

rubbish. couldn't watch it.

A bit cringey in parts, but we did giggle.

Decidedly ok for me. Not spectacular but induced the odd wry grin. Yep...... ok.

Well, maybe the writers were road-testing it in preparation for fine tuning their skills when the inevitable Harry'n'Meghan saga opens in the West End?

I don't understand why Charles was played by an Asian actor?

MawtheMerrier Fri 30-Dec-22 23:13:31

Why not? Colour-blind casting is very popular these days.

I thought “Gordon” was excellent!

Coz it's not meant to be a docu-drama. They areall actors playing parts.
