They are now in Paris and have just discovered via musical code about the French support for the Jacobites.

I liked it until they went to live in America then it became drawn out and boring and I didn’t watch any more.

Will Jamie turn up there- if he has survived?

I did watch it but now it seems I now have to pay so I have stopped.

I watched it all about 4 years ago when it was on Amazon Prime. I really enjoyed the first few series, but i thought it did tail off in quality of storyline.

I absolutely LOVED it. then the American section seemed to go on forever. The books are amazing. I don't know how she managed to write so well about somewhere she had never been, and an era she hadn't studied until she came to write the books!
Yes, there were some early errors (esp with the Gaelic) but the books were so good I forgave er everything - it is fiction, after all, not history!

I have really enjoyed the books, not quite so much the TV series although quite watchable. Jamie Fraser is totally yum.

Love outlander

I watched it a couple of years ago and loved it.
I wish I hadn't seen it so I could watch it anew.

I’ve watched all the series of Outlander on Amazon, they are great. However the last series no 6 I think I had to pay extra for.

Yes I loved it until it went to America. I think Sam Heughan (spelling) is lovely. I think he would make a great James Bond but seemingly they want someone in their 30s and he is 40.

I've loved Outlander from the start and read all of the books (hence my username ☺️) I couldn't imagine a more fitting actor playing the part of Jamie Fraser than Sam Heughan, he is exactly as I visualised him, not to mention drop-dead gorgeous
I don't think it's ever been on Netflix it has always been on Amazon Prime and now Lionsgate a subsidiary of Prime which you now have to pay extra for. There were rumours that Channel 4 were wanting to take Outlander, which would have reached a wider audience but David Cameron put the boot in because he thought it would stir up patriotism during the run up to the Scottish referendum

I’ve watched it on and off for years although there were elements of season one that I found very disturbing. I’ve just finished season 4. Towards the end of a season I always think I’m getting bored with it but then when I watch the last episode I end up wanting to find out what happens next.
