I watched this too and was equally bemused. It might be one of those comedies that needs time to mature. I don't like the daft title.

I love it - it’s definitely worth persevering with. Got a slow burn beneath all the comedy.

There seemed to be such a lot going on and so many characters. When I Wikipedia’d it even the synopsis of each episode confused me. It is based on a real character, though. Rory Kinnear is in it though and I like him. And, is the big pirate Hodor from Game of Thrones?

Please give it a go. It might be something that grows on you. I did watch it late at night and probably wasn’t in them right mood for it’s humour. My cousin, who tends to like the same sort of programmes as me, is going to see what he thinks but hasn’t reported back yet. I am slightly intrigued by it.

I sat through the first episode stony-faced, but have stuck with it. It's not as funny as it thinks it is, and is certainly no match for a historical comedy like Blackadder.

I gave it another go but have given up on it. If it is meant to be a comedy it is just not funny.

I watched the first episode but wasn't engaged by it. I don't think I'll bother watching the rest of the series.

Just watched half of the first episode of this tonight in case I wanted to watch the whole series, no I def don’t want to see any more of it.I felt embarrassed for the actors.
