Maybe try reading what the DM actually say instead of what they are implying. smile

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 09-Jan-23 16:11:55

I agree Chestnut. I read the article to which you provided a link and the direct quotes from the Oprah and Bradby interviews were clearly set out.

Ah, the Daily Mail. They'll be right on the button then.

"Prince Harry's been accused..." By whom? The Daily Mail I guess.

Or those completely impartial commentators Chris Ship and Jennie Bond, maybe.

It's so easy to condemn the Daily Mail, but when they are quoting directly from the two interviews the facts are there to see. Maybe try getting the details of the interviews before slating the article.

Incidentally, the Ripple of Hope/Kennedy awards were hosted by that beacon of decency Alec Baldwin. Enough said.

What has Alec Baldwin done? If you are referring to the accidental shooting on a film set, it was absolutely that an accident, even the victim's family acknowledge that.

The most blatant lie coming from H&M was on the Oprah interview when they allowed her to gasp and comment on the colour of the baby to be and to shake her head over such a racist remark.
Now H has rowed back on that and said there is no racism in the RF.
People aren’t stupid and will now doubt the truth of anything they both say.

I haven't watched the Oprah thing and I haven't watched last night's interview either.

So Meghan told Oprah what had been said and Oprah may or may not have used the word racist (I haven't watched it, after all...)

Can you affix the clip where Meghan or Harry said the RF were racist? Actual Meghan? Or actual Harry? Not Oprah, or some reporter who decided to ask William if he was racist.

Can you? (No, is the answer...)

Yes is the answer. The DM has gone into everything H&M with a fine tooth comb! It's all in this article:

Just watching lunchtime news on BBC. H’s allegation that Camilla had become close to the press as part of her change of image, and that this had led to stories being planted, was discussed. It was pointed out that H’s claim that she had briefed the press about her first meeting with William was untrue - her private secretary had mentioned it to someone, who then told someone else, and the PS was so mortified that he was the source that he resigned. Slurs against Camilla will not endear him to Charles.

Slurs against Camilla will not endear him to Charles.

No, they most certainly won't.
Has Harry crossed the Rubicon with those remarks about Camilla?

Look, what's going on here?

They are associated with Kennedy so they are a good thing, or they are hosted by Baldwin so you think they are a bad thing?

Zelensky got a Ripple of Hope award too. Where does that lie on your good thing/bad thing continuum?

I know it pains you volver but you’re wrong. Harry even said in the interview that when/if he reconciles with his father the ripples (of hope smile) will bring peace to the world. He is delusional and has shown this to the world. I doubt very much if this has harmed the RF. His credibility is shot. Oh well c’est la vie.

Yes, but as Smileless said in the beginning, H did not bring shame on the RF, he brought shame on himself. The traitorous remarks are all his.

His inconsistencies have shown the world the fragility of his MH or the fact that the truth is not what he says it is. Either way, no one will know what to believe and what not to believe.

What Meghan said was "There was some concern about how dark the baby's skin would be" and she nodded agreement when Oprah picked that up and ran with it.

Seems to me that Harry and Meghan are quite clever with implying things, without actually saying something directly.

I reckon the audio book would help your insomnia Fanny. I don’t think it will get him any voiceover work should he fall on hard times.

GSM and Joseanne yes, I did warn him that it would be dreadful.
Harry’s voice annoys me at the best of time.
MrC is dyslexic (a recurring theme on the thread smile) so is even less inclined to read it than I am.

Never mind.

How much is Tom Brady getting paid for all this rubbish coming out of Harry’s mouth?

Tom Bradby writes much better books.

They're fiction based on fact.

The Church of England was founded on divorce, adultery, remarriage and legitimacy. It has also crowned one divorced king, George 1st, so I don't think there'll be too many ecclesiastical qualms about Charles and Camilla!

eh?

Half of Gransnet. If they haven't borrowed it from the library, that is. Telling us all simultaneously how fed up they are of hearing from them.

I am 15th on the list for ‘Spare’ from my local library, so I think it will be old news by the time I get to read it.

I am very interested in what he has to say.

Would it contain anything we haven’t already heard? The media will have picked out all the juicy stuff for our delectation. I’m sure William is delighted that the world knows he’s been circumcised, for instance.
