The late Pope Benedict was a fan!
I heard that yesterday.
He used to copy her telephone manner apparently

it was a truly wonderful programme last night

Probably one of my favourite programmes. It can reduce me to tears. I love Patricia Routledge's portrayal. I had an aunt like that.

One of my favourite programmes that I watch over and over again. I really enjoyed the programme last night it was very interesting.

Patricia Routledge is magnificent in it.
It’s so unusual (especially 30 years ago) to see a middle aged woman doing such physical comedy.
Quite brave really

The programme last night had me in stitches and I could not believe Patricia Routledge is 93!

Apparently, it's very popular in Hungary!

One of DH’s friends used to call me Hyacinth, he never worked out that the reason I was so aloof around him was due to my intense dislike of him and his ways

I enjoy Keeping Up Appearances and if I am at loose end and I find it on the TV I watch, always end up laughing.

My mother was a great fan, she never realised how like Hyacinth she was! I always loved Onslow and Daisy, they seemed the archetypal British married couple. Daisy always trying to turn him into one of her Mills and Boon heroes and Onslow just wanting to be left with his television.

I laughed from beginning to end. Wonderful humour and no effing or blinding 👍

Oh I missed it!! I love the programme and we find ourselves quoting them often!
