I binged all of it a couple of weeks ago (it's all on iPlayer). I enjoyed it. It's not highbrow TV - it's a soap, but I enjoy TV as entertainment sometimes, particularly when I'm working. My little brain has enough to do without taxing it too much in the evenings, too
.
I think it's got its mojo back - the series in Scotland was too far-fetched for me. This one is back in Manchester, with Kim (Angela Griffith) as Head, and Donte and Chlo's daughter as a pupil. There are the usual 'issues' dealt with successfully and unbelievably, and the usual unlikely occurrences such as teachers fostering homeless children etc, but if you don't take it too seriously it's enjoyable enough.
