Robson Green's Weekend Escapes

I , also didn't realise that the North East is so breathtakingly beautiful .
It's a bit of England that I've never explored .

I enjoy the programmes .

We moved to Northumberland 20years ago. It is a beautiful county a friendly place with wonderful beaches. Weatherwise we don’t get a huge amount of rain but can often have windy days. Love it here. Pic is of a local beach at Alnmouth which is on East Coast Train Line 30mins North of Newcastle or 60mins South of Edinburgh. No car needed.

One of our favourite areas of Britain. We often rent a cottage up there and take our two dogs with us. Nothing more lovely than walking on a near deserted beach with them.

Bamburgh is our very favourite. It’s lovely seeing Robson visiting all the places we love. He even went into a little sweet shop where I took my little granddaughter. Such special memories.

He did a series of programmes last year where he walked Hadrian's wall. That was very good as well. He seems to pick out the not-quite-known places and show you how interesting they are.
Good for tourism and on a sour note bad for the locals. At one time you could wander the wall from the Solway to the North sea practically alone now you are on what would be called in Cumbria "a Tourist trod", we avoid them. I certainly empathise with Gloianny. Remember your thermals and wellingtons.

There’s only one thing wrong with these programmes - they aren’t long enough😊! Northumberland and North Yorkshire are two of my favourite stomping grounds.

We’ve started watching - catching up on iPlayer. Beautiful scenery, interesting activities…and he’s such a nice man!

I've no doubt you'll all get a proper Northern welcome and be well looked after. It is lovely to share the place, the stories and the history really

I once had dinner in the same restaurant as Robson Green when I was still working. One of our staff insisted on telling everyone she'd "had dinner with Robson Green". He was about 3 tables away. He is very good looking but quite small.

Yes a very enjoyable programme with stunning scenery. The North East is a beautiful part of the country with wonderful coast lines and countryside. Well worth a visit. The secret is out Glorianny!

Oh no!! We've been trying to keep up here secret for years! Now Robson has let it out of the bag. We can't claim it's all coal mines, men in flat caps, and whippets anymore.
Some of the best beaches, lovely hills and loads of castles. It isn't always warm, but it is spectacular.
The programme is great.

I’ve watched them all this week I love the scenery and I’ve always liked Robson’s Green he seems very down to earth.
