Well that's 2 hours 37 minutes I won't get back. One of the worst if not the worst film I've seen. Total pretentious claptrap. Hated the content, staccato type filming, and broken story line. We went with a group so stayed to the bitter end. If it were just hubs and myself we would have left sooner.
Another of our group enjoyed it, so fair enough.

I fancied it and went by train into the city centre yesterday with 2 friends to see it. Due to circs we had to miss the start so chose instead to see ‘Fabelman’. They liked it, me - not so much.

I plan to watch ‘Tár’ eventually - on Netflix!

It's a strange ,and very long film.I didn't hate it but didn't particularly like it if that makes sense.I wondered whether we should have seen the Fablemans instead.Don't think I will bother with another cinema trip to see it though.

Mr P and I went to see this film on Sunday. It is certainly disjointed and hard to follow but strangely we couldn't say that we hadn't enjoyed it. The ending is just bizarre. Later, I had to read reviews to see if they would shed any light on the plot but each reviewer said that they had watched the film 2 or 3 times before writing about it. Even then they didn't agree on what it was all about. It was a bit too clever for us Parsleys.
