Bettany Hughes is it just me?

I’ve just had a deja vu moment, we might of discussed this before if so ignore me 🫣

I have wondered why this lady wears boots in hot weather in hot climates. I could find no info on Google about Bettany and boots. I have come to the conclusion she wears boots to ward off snake bites or scorpion stings.

I think there was a recent thread about her showing a lot of cleavage . I love the sort of programmes that she makes but, unlike most of the people that make such programmes, I’ve never warmed to her and tend to give her programmes a miss. I never get drawn into them.

I've never warmed to her either although I would normally enjoy watching the sort of programmes she presents..... preferably without seeing her bosom thrust at the camera

I love Bettany Hughes .She has a nice soft easy to listen to voice and her programmes are interesting .
But I have wondered what the Egyptian
workers really think of her rather overwhelming busty substances threatening to burst out from her clothes !

I think she's fabulous. I'd love to be like her.

I’m interested in the subject matter of her programmes but don’t watch them because I can’t stand the expanse of cleavage which is always on show. Time and place. I prefer other serious historians who don’t feel the need to advertise their assets - Suzannah Lipscombe and Tracey Borman for instance.

tanith I mentioned this a while ago. While I find her programmes interesting I do feel her choice of clothing a bit inappropriate for the places she visits.

I love her programmes and I'm not into history at all...never really watch anything else about history........she is so enthusiastic about the places she visits...its infectious.....she's a bit different but so what

I’m glad it’s not just me, actually she wasn’t actually showing lots of cleavage as she also had a scarf covering herself. It was her choice of thick denim and boots in a hot climate.

I don’t think it’s the clothes to be honest. Eg I love Janina Ramirez’s programmes even when she’s in her goth gear and sometimes strides along cobbled streets wearing huge platform boots!
