Series like Brokenwood mysteries

I enjoy the Brokenwood mysteries, set in NZ with a good cast.I read about them here, before I signed up here.

Now I am wondering if some kind folk could point me to similar series - detective series that are gentle and engaging, and without terror or gore.
If you don't mind saying how they can be seen (Iplayer or whatever) that would be kind.

I'm enjoying Harry Wild Investigates. Channel 5 on Saturday evenings. There have been two episodes so far. Jane Seymour plays Harry. It's set somewhere in Ireland.

Sister Boniface mysteries it's a spin off from Father Brown on the drama channel.
