Saw a film on Netflix last week. ‘Four Scandalous People’ I have never seen anything so bad. Laughable in its awfulness. You have been warned

Without a doubt Blue Velvet. Closely followed by Shampoo and Withnail and I.

Yes, that's what makes a thread like this so interesting! We saw TWWW when we weren't long married, thinking we would love it as we do What's Up Doc? (probably our favourite film of all time) but found it very depressing. Anyway, I'm glad you like it so that it isn't friendless, poor film!

I forgot about The Greatest Showman, I just cannot see what all the hype was about.

The Banshees of Inisherin, I thought it would reconnect me with my Irish roots😬.
It was dreadful IMHO.

David Bowie movie ( a let down)
I went to see a movie called the Summit hoping it would be like Everest and mountain climbing.

It wasn't.

I would add most Rom Coms, Bridget Jones and the like.
Also The Bridges of Madison County.

The remake of Psycho with Vince Vaughan - can't believe they made it, can't believe I sat through it.

Mulholland Drive, which seems to get raves but which I thought was pretentious and incomprehensible. Likewise American Beauty.

The remake of Little Women with Florence Pugh et al - abysmal casting of several roles, and who on earth thought that Timothee Chalamet could ever be Laurie?

It was truly one of the most anticlimactic films.
Where-as Doctor Doolittle was merely tiresome.
