It’s called Rain dogs, BBC, I’m shocked, disgusted and keep watching😳 it’s kind of compelling in a strange way!

We liked it. Not sure what that says about us!

Kate1949 I think it shows we appreciate great writing, and acting, have a terrific sense of humour, and are not up our own selves😳🤣

I had conflicting views- only watched the first one. I love Daisy May Cooper she is one of the most talented people on TV. It is funny, it is also harrowing.
But I also wondered about the subject matter. I read that it is so many years since "Cathy Come Home" was screened by the BBC, and I wondered how we had gone from a play about homelessness, that shocked and inspired action, to a series which starts with homelessness, where it is material for comedy. Not sure what that says about society today.

I didn't like the sound of it and have been reluctant to watch.

Having said that, Fleabag was pretty gross at times but I enjoyed that. And the subject matter of Alma's Not Normal rather put me off, but I watched it nevertheless and loved it.

Maybe I will give Rain Dogs a go.

I'll probably watch it because I really like Daisy May Cooper, I enjoyed Am I Being Unreasonable and loved This Country.

It’s very well written, the language is not for the faint hearted but all in all it’s excellent.
