Yes I watched it. We always watch these programmes and it was also mentioned on the news yesterday about scams. It's very frightening to think what these people can do. There is also one thing these programmes and articles don't mention is that when you put your phone down and try to ring your bank etc. make sure the call has been completely cut off or use another phone. The reason being is that the caller might still be on the line and you would still be through to them without realising it.

It's quite nail biting watching them trying to contact the victims before the scammers can get hold of the money. The people who can take over your phone are really scary.

That is the advantage of a mobile phone, the scammers can't do the trick of not hanging up.
