Anyone watching this? It's a dramatisation of the murders of 3 teenage girls in the 1970s in 4 episodes. (A bit like Unforgotten)

The police seemed so inept in the 70s that I had to keep reminding myself that this was not fiction and they truly were that bad! Thankfully when the cases were revisited in the early 2000s, DNA was now being used and the police had a breakthrough after a great deal of hard detective work.

It's well scripted and well cast, and I binge watched the whole 4 episodes on iPlayer. Can recommend.

I've watched the first one and am looking forward to the rest.

Even the "modern day" was 20 years ago!

We binged watched it ,good cast and a very interesting story.I think we have to remember policing was very different back then
Now we're watching Crime with the brilliant Dougray Scott ,edge of the seat stuff and fantastic acting

I will watch this. I found Crime a hard watch but excellent. It was good to see the effects of policing horrific events has on those men and women who have that unenviable job.

Just finished binge-watching all 4 episodes, and yes, it was well worth the effort. Pretty much stuck to the true, tragic story, too, which yet again highlighted investigative ineptitude back in the 70's, before advances in DNA technology came into play, and helped solve numerous "cold cases" years later. Well acted, with convincing characterisation, and well-filmed with plenty of authentic-feeling "period" atmosphere. Those 70's fashions took me right back...

We have one more episode to watch. It is very good acting but show how difficult it was without DNA evidence which we now take for granted. Computers being able to cross reference information is also a great step since when these awful murders happened.
