Roll up, roll up!

The old one is full, so post your Corrie thoughts and observations here.

That’s what I thought, GNW. He was in the back of an Underworld van and Sneaky Stephen took his body away for disposal. I think - my mind does wander during Corrie grin.

I don’t think Leo’s in landfill vegansrock. Unless my memory is playing tricks Stephen moved his body from the factory bin and buried him.

vegansrock Wed 20-Sept-23 06:50:25

Well the body isn’t Rufus - he was in a swimming pool, it isn’t Leo’s dad as he’s in the canal, Leo’s in landfill - what other bodies have I missed?

BlueBelle Wed 20-Sept-23 04:17:28

Well it might not be Leo, Vegansrock there’s a few bodies to choose from 😂😂😂

vegansrock Wed 20-Sept-23 01:15:03

Gemma,Chesney and Bernie all going into the house together. No babysitter or kids in sight. Where were they? And where is Glory when all the family are sitting downstairs at breakfast? Do the scriptwriters think viewers forget these minor details?

vegansrock Wed 20-Sept-23 01:07:06

I thought Leo’s body was crushed up in a dustcart and taken to landfill. So how come it’s now in one piece on a building site?

Doodledog Tue 19-Sept-23 22:50:52

Or just a rubber prosthesis? I can't understand why he'd have to have that recreated every time. it must take ages.

BlueBelle Tue 19-Sept-23 22:41:53

I doubt it would get bigger if it was healing they really should have a standard photo of it for different make up artists to follow

Doodledog Tue 19-Sept-23 22:11:57

It's different every week. I have no idea if that is meant to show the healing process, or if it is just that there are different make-up artists on shift.

BlueBelle Tue 19-Sept-23 22:04:36

Is it my imagination or is that scar growing ?

Doodledog Tue 19-Sept-23 22:03:14

Well, we are no wiser, are we? I hope Jenny isn't next on the list to be bumped off. I always worry at this time of year, as it seems to be the time when contracts get renewed (or not).

LauraNorderr Tue 19-Sept-23 20:26:25

Either that or Steve McDonald got there first and ate all the bodies, he’s certainly packing the pounds these days.

Doodledog Tue 19-Sept-23 19:53:12

grin

Grannynannywanny Tue 19-Sept-23 19:48:57

I was going to say will we take bets on what they’re about to dig up. But maybe that’s a bad idea. Ed Bailey will get wind of it and gamble the family savings.

Beechnut Tue 19-Sept-23 19:38:33

Off to make a cuppa. I’ll do my best to keep my eyes open tonight !

Doodledog Tue 19-Sept-23 18:30:16

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Corrie is on tonight at 8.00 instead of Friday. Don't miss the body being unearthed!!

Grannynannywanny Tue 19-Sept-23 16:18:42

I wondered what was going on with the close-up. Will it get Stephen caught, I wonder?

Ooh you could be onto something there Doodledog. I did wonder last night what mysterious thing was about to be uncovered to scupper their building project. It completely slipped my mind there are bodies waiting to be discovered. That storyline has dragged on so long I’d almost forgotten about the murder victims.

Doodledog Tue 19-Sept-23 16:08:39

That's what I thought. It's a brave story, but it will have to be sanitised.

Aveline Tue 19-Sept-23 16:06:21

They'll have to have an assisted dying story as they can't show the reality of death from MND in any appropriate way on TV.

BlueBelle Tue 19-Sept-23 15:34:41

They don’t need an assisted dying scene it’s already been well covered in casualty last week

LovesBach Tue 19-Sept-23 15:32:15

As for the Bailey brothers and their building enterprise, there will be a disasterous find before too long. ( This was hinted at in the press) The significant close up of a clump of grass last night was enough - a body is under that grass, and it will cause them problems. It is all going too well. Ed will get depressed about it and find solace at the betting shop.

Doodledog Tue 19-Sept-23 08:43:55

She doesn’t have a husband. The man who’s been looking after her was a personal assistant/carer. There is an estranged brother but otherwise she had
nobody.

CoolCoco Tue 19-Sept-23 06:46:19

Why wouldn’t Shelley’s husband be arranging her funeral? Why would it fall to Paul who has only known her for 5 minutes?

LauraNorderr Tue 19-Sept-23 02:07:46

It is awfully sad. A story on assisted dying will be very interesting and hopefully start a wider discussion.
You have a point Doodledog, Mary and Brian together not such a good idea after all.
Looks as though Ed is going to be in the betting shop before long, can’t anybody in soapland ever be happy.
