She left because PS was getting paid loads more than she was. They were very frosty to each other at the end. Also there was some big falling out because, I think this is correct, she was not invited to a celebration of This Morning event he was hosting.

Slight diversion but I can’t understand what’s so great about Holly Willoughby. I have no axe to grind, apart from being more than a little sickened by her hypocrisy. However, before all this exploded I often used to wonder why she was everywhere on our screens. There are so many presenters and I just can’t see why HW is in such demand. It’s nice to see different people presenting shows instead of the same faces all the time.

The whole thing at ITV is very odd and ‘nepotistic’ (can’t think of a better word)
They all have the same management company YMU Entertainment (Ant and Dec, Ruth, Amanda Holden, Cowell etc)

I have to hold my hand up and say that although I’m commenting on this thread, I don’t watch the show. I did when it was Richard and Judy but that’s years ago. You can’t escape Holly n Phil though. Adverts, other programmes, hair commercials, M&S, they had it all stitched up. Nobody else seemed to be considered.

I’ve just heard that McGreevy was, as well as being a runner on TM, he was Schofield’s personal assistant on Dancing On Ice and many other shows

I think they should end This Morning now. It has had a good run and has got tired now. I used to watch it when I had a big pile of ironing to do.

It got very uncomfortable when Fern Britton had the gastric band which she lied about and then had to come on and apologise with Schofield standing beside her as red as a beetroot and saying very little. She and PS then had a falling out because he was paid a lot more than her and she left.

Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary are tipped to take over but Alison is just so loud with all that false laughter and Dermot just looks like he is not that interested in being there.

Time to just let it go I think!

Exactly. As I said on Page 2 of this thread - if I was innocent and had nothing to answer I would be kicking and screaming my innocence for all to hear.

I see where you're coming from BlueBelle. As I said upthread there's a lot to still come out. I think there's much anger and disappointment as yet again someone as high profile as Schofield isn't what he preaches to millions of viewers on a daily basis.
