TV, radio channels have disappeared

I puzzles me every year that I lose QVC in the middle of May and it returns around late September. I'm on Freesat.

Thank you ladies for all your suggestions. After doing an 'auto installation' many times (a sign of madness, surely?) I then tried the manual type which is beyond my little brain.

Before committing myself to more serious measures I decided to trawl from number 11 Sky Arts with pen and paper to see what I actually can get and came up with a reasonable number of channels.

Hoorah! BBC 1 (east midlands) is now on 828, and the expected channels such as BBC 2, ITV etc all follow on in a reasonable order. What a relief. Tanith I found QVC on 806 if that helps - it may be the same for you.

Small problem really, but I am relieved that I don't have to get a man in- that'll be £50 please or get a new telly. Thanks again all.

The same happened to me Pittcity is right look at 101 etc for usual channels. I also can't get QVC dont know where thats gone.

Where do you live? We often lose channels in spells of high pressure. We are by the coast & atmospheric conditions affect reception. If they disappear during the day, retuning late at night will restore them (although they may well disappear again the next morning.

BBC1 only has the HD channel now. Ours is available on 101 (Freeview). The standard BBC channel on 1 no longer exists.

What type of tv do you have? Is it a smart tv? Have you tried doing a manual reset? If that didn't work have you tried returning the set to factory settings?
I'm sorry to ask all these questions and I'm afraid I'm not being much help. We have a smart tv with an inbuilt satellite receiver and don't use terrestrial tv, just the freesat channels.
