DH wasn’t surprised, as when the credits rolled for Elvis, the film, I said “Oh, look, Tom Hanks was in it”. Yes, as Colonel Tom Parker. He was on screen as much as Elvis.

Yes, I was slow on the uptake on that one too.

Same with David Cassidy in Blood Brothers! I whispered to my friend "I thought David Cassidy was going to be in this". She said "That's him, the little boy on the stage!".

I’ve never seen Blood Brothers. I’ll make sure I do now, just so that I can recognise David Cassidy first.

Actually, I have seen Blood Brothers on stage, twice (no David Cassidy though, as far as I recall, though I could easily have missed him). I was having a senior moment there and thinking of The Blues Brothers.

I thought that it was brilliant .

Later on , I watched David T play the father of a severely autistic girl .
He's a brilliant and versatile actor .

I thought DT was brilliant as Dennis Nilsen - very sinister.

We watched that too Esmay. We watched the first series too There She Goes. Brilliant. We are also watching David Tennant in the new series of Staged. He's everywhere at the moment but I'm not complaining.

Georgesgran David Tennant was frighteningly good as Nielsen wasn't he? I remember watching a documentary about Nielsen and being amazed by the likeness.
