Has anyone got this? I cancelled our Sky subscription several years ago, but would like it again. I’ve heard Sky Glass has poor sound, but Stream seems ok, as long as the broadband is good. I’ll switch my broadband to Sky if it’s up to the job.

We have have had Sky Superfast for quite a few years, has always been good, rarely any problems or down time, I would definitely recommend. Customer service has also functioned well when we have had to contact them to renegotiate our contract. Mr T decided to treat himself to Sky streaming in April as he enjoys F1 and got fed up with only being able to view the highlights when on later on C4, sometimes hearing the result before it was transmitted. The appointment & installation all worked well, the chap who came was knowledgeable, knew what he was doing and was very pleasant, even he admitted Sky Glass was not really up to scratch, rolled out too soon, too many problems. If you are thinking of getting both Broadband & Streaming, look out for a deal and negotiate.

Thanks Tosc I really must get it sorted soon. I’m out of contract with Plusnet and paying them @£50 a month just for broadband.

We have Sky, but the older Q box, not Glass. We did have the sports package, but cancelled for now as it’s pricey, broadband with them is excellent as is their customer service.

Sky Stream and Sky Glass are only as good as your internet service.

We have Sky Glass, no problems with sound but it does occasionally buffer if we have a house full of teenage GC who are using the internet.
