Has anyone else been watching this drama that concludes tonight? I`ve enjoyed it, but question how many young girls who are confined to a wheelchair, would propel themselves on a regular basis through a fairly deserted council estate late at night, especially knowing there`s a killer on the loose?

We gave up after episode 2 it was stretching our credulity too far.

It is a bit silly but watchable, quite enjoyed seeing Ross Kemp acting again.
I think the girl goes to great lengths not to be defined by her disability but maybe takes it too far Hellogirl1

I m watching it and enjoying it, although it’s way beyond the realms of belief
However I think Ross Kemp s acting is awful really wooden I expected better of him

I am watching and thinking exactly the same about anyone in a wheelchair roaming around an estate too. I usually enjoy Ross Kemp but his personality in this is lacking I suppose we will find out why.

I’ve stuck with it but it’s more fanciful with each episode.

In the first episode the deaf man she works with emphasised how he needed her to look at him so he could lip read. Since then he seems to have managed quite nicely even though nobody seems to bother which way they are facing! 😂

Just ridiculous, I gave it about six minutes🙄

Coolgran65 Sat 08-Jul-23 04:29:15

We stuck with it but found it incredulous at times. Especially when the friend pulled her so easily from the burning car.
I agree about the wooden acting of Ross Kemp.

BlueBelle Sat 08-Jul-23 05:25:03

Well I finished it but it was very far fetched and unrealistic I don’t think it was a well written story with lots of holes in it and I thought Ross Kemp was dreadful

Marriedalongtime Sat 08-Jul-23 08:47:11

We gave up after about 6 mins too. Why the silly girl in the wheelchair just watched her friend being killed instead of fleeing the scene was ridiculous and agree that Ross Kemp was dreadful from what little we saw.

I felt it was a missed opportunity for a really good thriller. The plot had great possibilities with the idea of a murder being solved by somebody in a wheelchair but Rear Window it wasn’t!!

Was it written by a teenager?

Auntieflo Sat 08-Jul-23 10:10:47

It's so awful that I have to watch it

polnan Sat 08-Jul-23 11:20:00

I am enjoying it,, I don`t want realistic!

inishowen Sat 08-Jul-23 11:25:07

I'm watching it but find it amateur the way it's written. Line of Duty it ain't!

grannybuy Sat 08-Jul-23 11:32:58

Watched it all but thought from the start that it lacked credibility. Too many weak ‘ whodunnits’ being churned out these days.

Bazza Sat 08-Jul-23 11:50:51

Watched all episodes after being sucked in even though we winced at the unlikely plot. Very poor standard of acting. In no danger of being awarded a BAFTA. Why are there so many police type dramas these days? Why not something like Last Tango in Halifax for example.

Acting Devil'd Advocate here, but the girl is supposed to have lived on the estate all her life so maybe feels safe. I agree about Ross Kemp, he's a bit of a one trick pony, acting or presenting he's always the same wooden persona.

polly123 Sat 08-Jul-23 12:11:37

It's pretty awful with a weak script and wooden acting so I gave up after the first episode.

Kate1949 Sat 08-Jul-23 12:20:46

We gave up. Thought it was terrible.

EEJit Sat 08-Jul-23 12:23:21

For cryring out loud, stop taking it so seriously, it's a drama not a documentary.

I’m impressed that you lasted 6 minutes 😄
Absolute rubbish.

In which case we’re perfectly entitled to describe it as poor quality drama.

homefarm Sat 08-Jul-23 14:42:40

Even with belief suspended how does a wheelchair bound person manage everyday life with no help at all?

BlueBelle Sat 08-Jul-23 16:16:10

eEjit people are allowed to comment on things.
Are you Ross Kemp’s mother or did you write the play ?
It perfectly normal to chew over a tv programme but it’s also free to not join in you know 😀
