Yes. I didn’t know it was on, but we really enjoyed it and will be watching the rest of the series.

It was compelling!

It reminded me of a conversation with DH a while ago.
It was reported that there are only 1,030 highland gorillas left in the wild. I said "Imagine if there were only 1,030 humans left on Earth" and DH said "Perhaps Earth would have a chance to recover".

The cockroaches will survive and take over.

I watched the start of it last night and thought the filming was fabulous and it was all extremely interesting. Looking forward to watching the rest of episode 1 this afternoon.

Anyone else watched/watching it?
We saw the first part last night.

Particularly interesting in the context of climate change - virtually all life on earth was wiped out at least twice, long before dinosaurs roamed the earth, or the meteorite that wiped them out - a mere 60 million years ago.

Not that I’m implying that humans have nothing to do with climate change - far from it - but interesting how our Earth managed it well over 200 million years before we had anything to do with it.
We found it well worth a watch.
