Tony Bennett has died

I just heard this on the radio. He was one of mine and DH’s all time favourite singers - I still listen to his CD’s. “Country Girl”, “S’Wonderful”, “Stranger in Paradise”, “Don’t get around much anymore”. Lots more. RIP Tony.

That’s such a shame but he was a great age.

I loved his collaboration with Lady Gaga.

What a shame he came across as a lovely man. My parents had the pleasure of seeing him a couple of times, wished I had gone with them.

we were lucky to meet him a number of years ago ,he was lovely down to earth and very kind .I can see him wrapped in his trench coat in the Scottish rain being so friendly to us and the people we were working with .Our bride and groom were delighted when he suggested having his photo taken with them

He also did a duet with Amy Winehouse - Body and Soul. Our particular favourite is I Left My Heart In San Francisco as it reminds us of our first holiday in California. He was also a gifted artist.
