If you are in London Gransnetters see if you can go to see the preview of the Freddie Mercury Auction which runs at Sothebys until 5 September. The array of beautiful objects which FM owned is staggering. Its free entry and at least 10 rooms of costumes his piano and gold discs ' be prepared to queue. We went yesterday and it was amazing.

Oh I wish I was in London. I was a big Queen fan back in the day. I can imagine there would be some amazing treasures there.

My daughter went this week. She too thought it amazing. Great that it’s free, too.

I’d love to see that. We saw Queen live back in the 70’s - fabulous show!

Yes you are right the treasures he owned were so beautiful and in such good taste. We spent at least 2 hours in awe and bought the catalogue for DS1 birthday who loved FM. It was a 'star studded ' day as we went for a bite to eat afterwards and lo & behold Anita Dobson was sitting nearby! WOW
