Yes, we constantly have that problem, sometimes it comes back after a minute or so, but sometimes you have to start the whole process again.

And yes- the wigs are awful!

ItvX is very clunky. It stops playing after about 15 minutes into a programme and I have to go through the whole rigmarole again to resume where it left off. This happens with almost everything I’ve tried watching, and I’m now on my third attempt with Love and Death.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I can’t imagine risking everything for Alan, but he sort of grew on me a bit x

The wigs were terrible. I couldn’t quite see the attraction of Alan. But the end frames showed the real life people and the actor did resemble the real Alan.

I really enjoyed it once I got over the bad wigs. Quality of acting mostly very good especially Elizabeth Olsen in the lead. Very gripping.

I've seen the first episode, thanks for the recommendation Sparklefizz, I will definitely watch the rest. I notice it's made by David Kelley, who previously was behind Ally McBeal, hence the soundtrack which brought back memories.

DD2 used to watch Mary-Kate and Ashley (Olsen) on TV when she was about 8. Pretty dire in my opinion. I must say the younger sister Elizabeth is a great actress. She herself never got into show biz as a child. I too am enjoying Love and Death immensely.

I’m really into this series and the lead female characters are so good I forgot this was from a true event …

Oooh, it's to be heavy rain here today so no gardening today . I'm going to pull over a blankie and watch this instead ! I'll report my findings later !
