I have just watched all of this on itvx and thoroughly enjoyed the chaotic lives of everyone in this comedy drama first aired back in 2000. amanda redman stars..

they don't make them like this anymore.

I watched it about a year ago and enjoyed it apart from the daughter Virginia with her anguished face which seemed to fill the screen for about 50% of every episode. I really was sick of her character who seemingly took over the series. Apart from that it was great fun and I agree 'they don't make them like that any more' which is such a shame. Most dramas now are dark and unsettling, or features serial killers. This was pure entertainment and with wonderful characters.
