Ch 4 catchup. I’ve wanted to see this film for years. Missed it at the cinema: it had had a 5 star rating. Couldn’t get it on dvd when I tried. Then, last night it popped up on Ch4 catchup when I was looking for something else. It took me a long time to realise it starred Matthias Schloenaerts who I loved in Far from the Madding Crowd. I’ve long been fascinated by the wild mustangs in America and it breaks my heart to know that they’re being rounded up and sold off (or worse) because there isn’t the land for them. When I first read about them as a child there were plans to protect them but that has now fallen by the wayside. They now rely on sanctuaries such as Skydog. Anyway, I wasn’t disappointed by the film. It was worth the wait!
