Does anyone else watch this? I've loved it from the start. It's fairly light hearted but has moments of real pathos but is never sentimental. Really good acting from them all. I'll miss the characters when it ends.

My teenage granddaughter introduced me to it just last weekend and I love it. I’m half way through Series 2 already . Looking forward to the new series when I get that far. Disappointed to read it’s the final one. I don’t think there’s currently much on tv with laugh out loud moments but this hits the spot for me 😀

The thing about a good comedy series is knowing when to end it so, much as I love it I think it’s best to go out on a high. I believe there’s going to be a Christmas special to look forward to as well. All episodes are on iplayer already I think so I’ve got to try not to binge watch it ( I bet I do, though). I’ve heard that the American version is supposedly quite good, too so I’m going to give that a go.

Loved it, always been a fan but right to end it now.
I have binged watch the US one, once you get used to the America "Ghosts" it's very good as well.

I deliberately haven't watched the American version so far, and I'm resisting binge watching the final series. I'm going 'old school', an episode a week, although how long that lasts...

I've loved Ghosts and am feeling sad I now only have 2 episodes left to watch of the final series. Apparently, actors aging is a problem as ghosts don't age.

I resented the American series initially but have come around, like the British series it's funny, gentle and touching in places. Guess all good things come to an end.

I watched the latest series in one day, it is so funny.
I really enjoyed the American series too.

We’ve watched it from the start, our granddaughter (16) likes it too, a very gentle, but astute programme.

I love Ghosts and I think it is the right decision to bring it to an end before it becomes stale. The acting is superb. Poor Mary's story used to bring me to tears. I was reluctant to watch the American one at first but it is actually really funny. There is a Ghosts podcast that I have just discovered on BBC Sounds so I have that to listen to as well.

Parsley that's a good call about the Ghosts podcast. Thanks for the reminder

Thanks Parsley I didn’t know about that.

It’s just as good as the British version, I love both.😍

Love it. Will really miss it but think it's good to end on a high.

I just started watching series 5. It’s the only thing that has made me laugh out loud for ages! Robin is by far and away my favourite character.
Couldn’t get on with the US series.

Ghosts has been wonderful. My grandsons love it. DD and I always wondered why the first season was shown quite late at night when there was nothing in it that they couldn't watch. I believe there is going to be a Christmas special to look forward to. DD and I love them all buy the Captain is probably our favourite.

I was dubious about the American version but I think it's been very well done with a nice range of characters.

Grandmabatty It was my granddaughter who started watching it too and I started watching it with her. I think it is really good. Perhaps it is better to finish on a high note.

Crikey. Just realised I haven’t watched it yet. When the series started I didn’t want to watch it because I was so upset about Israel/Palestine and I wanted to be in a better frame of mind when I did. Going to try not to binge watch it when I do start watching it.
