Eileen looks ill - she seems to deliver her lines mechanically, and whenever she is shown at home, she is almost always sitting down.

BlueBelle Wed 17-Apr-24 21:55:49

I think I must have missed something when did Sean decide to leave Eileen’s
At least Adams hair has improved tonight

Calendargirl Wed 17-Apr-24 20:44:45

How has Sean suddenly been able to afford to move, even to a grotty flat?

Don’t like Eileen much now. Always seems miserable. And never has any sort of storyline.

Calendargirl Wed 17-Apr-24 20:31:21

Yes, Bobby lying about a non existent balaclavad man is hardly going to help catch Lauren’s abducter/ murderer.

What an idiot.

Plus Lauren will turn up again, I’m sure.

Already wearying of yet another daft storyline.

Sarnia Tue 16-Apr-24 08:04:46

For the Police to charge Roy with Lauren's murder they would need a huge amount of forensic evidence to link him to the crime, particularly as they have not found her body. However, Roy doesn't help himself and he is clearly on the spectrum. He has no social filter so he attends Lauren's vigil, clears up the bat site and invites a total stranger who he believes is Lauren's Mum to stay overnight. Bobby is now spinning lies to the Police. What is his game? I think he may know more than he is letting on.

I hope Roy is not going to be in prison for months. That may happen knowing how these storylines drag on.

Adam does not generate much work- he is more interested in his sex life than earning enough money to pay the rent.

Doodledog Mon 15-Apr-24 20:46:17

Is he going to run into Harvey?

Poor Roy. And I don't blame Alya for resigning. Adam is dreadful these days, isn't he?

Calendargirl Mon 15-Apr-24 20:28:57

Could Adam be any more unprofessional?

The judge’s wig looked very odd, as though it was just about to topple off.

Poor Roy, another guest of His Majesty’s pleasure.

Is it just me, I used to think Gary Windass was very unattractive, but I find him quite appealing now.

Seems quite fanciable.

😍

Keep taking the tablets until you feel better grin

Did the writers realise the irony when Alya just said to Adam
*alright keep your wig on*

😂

I agree Calendargirl Roy has a rather naive view of the world and is hell bent on ploughing his own furrow regardless of the help and advice of friends.

Clawdy Thu 11-Apr-24 12:23:18

Definitely a suspicious character. Bet she is a journalist looking for a story.

Calendargirl Thu 11-Apr-24 06:57:17

But Roy shouldn’t be so gullible, inviting her to stay. He should listen to the advice of others.

Has anyone actually checked that she is Lauren’s mum?

I know Shona said she was ok, but …hmm

Calendargirl Thu 11-Apr-24 06:54:30

Think Alya had her baby in real life a little while ago.

lemsip Wed 10-Apr-24 21:54:39

yes, that's what made me google the question was the actress pregnant.

vegansrock Wed 10-Apr-24 21:53:17

I know that so called Lauren’s mum was up to no good. Poor Roy!

Calendargirl Wed 10-Apr-24 21:47:13

lemsip

sair khan who plays alya in corria is pregnant so will disappear soon for a few months.

Hence the big bags carried in front all the time, plus a bulky coat worn constantly.

I thought the fellow student that 'lured' Dylan might have featured - she seemed genuinely sorry that he had been threatened as Mason had told her he wanted to make up with Dylan. Perhaps she will have an opportunity to tell what she saw and heard at some time.

Doodledog Tue 09-Apr-24 19:11:59

I think it's good that they are showing the impact of this sort of thing on families as well as the victims. I hesitate to call it bullying, as it seems much more than that - threatening a witness' family, perverting the cause of justice and probably more. I'm pleased that Mason looks like he's going to get his just deserts though.

Calendargirl Tue 09-Apr-24 17:42:14

The brothers might still come after the families, even if Mason is locked up.

Poor Gary, not sure when Maria is ever going to be able to stop guarding Liam.

Clawdy Tue 09-Apr-24 17:36:06

Glad Dylan and Ĺiam came through, but where on earth were Mason's parents?

Sarnia Thu 04-Apr-24 07:57:25

Jenny and Daisy finally caught out. I thought Carla was a bit soft on them when Ryan managed to persuade her not to report them both to the Police. However, on second thoughts, Carla will make these two squirm. She says the pub is hers until they pay her back but she ought to get Adam to get Jenny and Daisy to sign it over legally. I hope Dylan finds the courage to give truthful evidence against Mason.
