Gary’s right though, in saying if they move Liam to a new school, you don’t know what problems they might have further down the line.

As for ‘home schooling’. I was reading how many more children are home schooled than used to be. Wonder why we need teachers if we could all turn our hand to successfully teaching our children at home.

Doodledog Tue 05-Mar-24 09:44:40

Yes, I don't think that home schooling is ideal, but it's impossible to know how best to deal with something like that. Maria and Gary are in a very difficult situation. I agree that sending him to a different school is likely to just move the problem with him. As I said, Mason knows where he lives, so he's not going to be safe anywhere unless the problem is sorted at the root, and it's hard to know how that can be done.

liam has suddenly grown up. I imagine earlier scenes were filmed some time before they were shown. now he has very long legs and deep voice .

Fizz back from her factory in Norfolk! 🤣🤣

I live here and can hand on heart you would be hard pushed to find a factory here let alone a knicker factory.

cassie gets more feline looking ever day.

Bit surprising that Mason never seems bothered by Gary threatening him. Most schoolkids would be put off by a fairly tough man warning them off.

That shows to me just how nasty Mason is. He isn't fazed by anyone be it Gary or his Headteacher. Very cocky lad who will finally get his comeuppance.

The sooner the better! Poor daft Dylan. I wonder if they are dusting off the borstal set in readiness?

I would be scared of Gary grin.

He should take over from Mrs Useless Crawshaw. He'd have the blighters sorted out sharpish.

Who needs a professional cleaner with Roy about?

Just an hour or two and the flat will be immaculate.

BlueBelle Fri 08-Mar-24 20:30:05

Except for the blood Calendargirl

BlueBelle Fri 08-Mar-24 21:03:06

I m really not keen on the Sean character and all his over the top flouncing but I think he played a really good part tonight

Doodledog Fri 08-Mar-24 21:18:55

Yes, this story has been difficult, but very well done.

Have read that Violet, Dylan’s mother, is going to reappear for a short while.

Hope she takes Dylan back to London, have never warned to him.

Calendargirl Sat 09-Mar-24 07:38:01

‘Warmed’ not ‘warned’.

Kandinsky Sat 09-Mar-24 08:07:30

The Bobby / Lauren storyline is a bit weird.
He’s literally known her for just a few weeks yet acting like she’s his wife or something.
And talking to Roy like he suspects him of having something to do with her disappearance?

Calendargirl Sat 09-Mar-24 09:06:02

Was Lauren’s (Evelyn’s) flat furnished?

Always thought it odd that Lauren, with no money, had it looking as nice as she did. Oh, of course, there was the dodgy boyfriend and the internet site.

If Cassie needs to borrow money from her mum’s purse to buy a few muffins, heaven help her. Where does her wages from the garage go?

Please, just write her out.

Charleygirl5 Sat 09-Mar-24 09:59:43

I do hope Evelyn stays and Cassie goes permanently.

maddyone Sat 09-Mar-24 11:30:48

I don’t like Cassie either.
And I’m not keen on Bobby.
I think Lauren’s been abducted, something to do with that dodgy site she was on I think.

nanaK54 Tue 12-Mar-24 18:14:53

I have really warmed to Bobby and his line in the last episode when he was sharing his worries about Lauren with Carla - "it's alright for you, you can pace" made me smile.
Poor old Roy this is not looking good for him.

maddyone Tue 12-Mar-24 18:18:07

I’ve warmed to Bobby now as well nanaK54.
Poor Roy, hopefully he won’t be the next Corrie resident to be put in prison.

LovesBach Wed 13-Mar-24 10:31:20

I found Bobby grating initially, as the constant stream of 'jokes' was too much, but he seems to have matured into a good actor. I like him - and of course he has to relay the script he is given, whether he likes it or not.

fancythat Wed 13-Mar-24 11:04:10

I like Bobby.
Didnt like him much the first couple of episodes. Couldnt work out which bits were the real him, and which bits he was acting.

Sarnia Thu 14-Mar-24 08:08:13

After all their past history Max was only too pleased to mention Daniel to the police.

Clawdy Thu 14-Mar-24 09:04:20

Yes, Max was relishing that police chat.
