I don’t like the revival of the Bethany grooming story again. That’s a dead duck now, so much time has passed by (I do understand in real life the trauma wouldn’t disappear) but as this is a programme made for entertainment, I think we need new storylines, not rehashed old ones.
Would have been more realistic and honest if it had been asian grooming gangs, but that’s never going to happen.

I will be pleased when this week is over and we can return to hour long episodes again as I also am confused.com with all of the comings and goings and also seeing very little of Roy, just the odd glimpse.
This Lauren thing has dragged on for so long I am beyond caring what happened and who did it.
I didn't like the 'arty' thing either. It might work better with an hour long episode, but 30 minutes (minus adverts) is not long enough to cope with all the to-ing and fro-ing.
I also don’t like the way the programme has been filmed this week, flitting backwards and forwards and repeating bits a lot. You have to work hard to see where we are on the timeline with all that going on.
I'd really like Lauren to walk back in and ask what all the fuss is about. Meanwhile I'm really disliking the arty filming and presentation of this week's story.
There were definitely headlines saying Sarah is leaving but they ve been wrong before so who knows whether Sarah leaves or stays won’t really give away any story lines I too didn’t like the little tiny titbit about Roy slipped in
It was the comment about Sarah that was news to me. I do actively avoid reading anything that might spoil the plot lines, but it's not always possible, and yes, Simon's departure has been a long time coming.
I didn’t think I was giving anything away about Simon leaving next Monday. Talk about the long goodbye! We’ve known since about last November that he was going.
Good luck to all of them on this yacht when Si throws a hissy fit and stomps off, scowling.
Please no more spoilers, but I’ve wondered whether Craigie’s spell on Big Brother will get him other projects that will mean the Street needs another police officer.
Sarah gets on my nerves. She comes up with the most hare-brained schemes. Her working hours are very flexible too. Looks like Roy has had a visit from Griff who has just arrived in the prison. Somebody not joining up the dots to see the connection between the pair of them.
What happened to Roy? I found this episode frustrating. If it started life as an hour-long one but was cut in half to accommodate Britain's Got Talent then that's a shame, as Roy is a much loved character, and if he's been attacked it deserves more attention than a minute at the beginning and another at the end of an episode.
