I hope Roy is not going to be in prison for months. That may happen knowing how these storylines drag on.

Adam does not generate much work- he is more interested in his sex life than earning enough money to pay the rent.

For the Police to charge Roy with Lauren's murder they would need a huge amount of forensic evidence to link him to the crime, particularly as they have not found her body. However, Roy doesn't help himself and he is clearly on the spectrum. He has no social filter so he attends Lauren's vigil, clears up the bat site and invites a total stranger who he believes is Lauren's Mum to stay overnight. Bobby is now spinning lies to the Police. What is his game? I think he may know more than he is letting on.

Yes, Bobby lying about a non existent balaclavad man is hardly going to help catch Lauren’s abducter/ murderer.

Eileen looks ill - she seems to deliver her lines mechanically, and whenever she is shown at home, she is almost always sitting down.

Eileen has lost so much weight I hardly recognise her now.

Considering most of them are on the minimum wage they have sufficient to spend in the cafe, Bistro and the pub.

I have read Roy will be exiting for good, I hope not.

Alya was a trainee assistant, now she’s suddenly got a plum job - if she was so good why did she leave the filing in such a mess?

I’m all for losing a bit of excess weight, but somehow her weight loss and hairstyle don’t look right, I don’t know why.

I’m not sure why Eileen is In coronation St anymore? She hasn’t featured in any main storyline for ages, and just pops up now and then to say a few lines. She looks seriously bored and fed up. I know she was never a ‘happy’ character, but she just looks like she’d rather be anywhere else.
Her new look isn’t helping as she’s the same miserable Eileen - just skinny with a new haircut.

Wonder if being on IAC has made Eileen dissatisfied with her Corrie role, but sticks with it for the regular money, whilst keeping a look out for better prospects?

I’ve read that Eileen is leaving the street going to Thailand , no doubt in a taxi at the last minute. She went off for ages quite recently.

I used to like Eileen. She was a credible character with a sense of humour and a stoical attitude. Lately she does seem jaded, I agree. She used to be a matriarch who opened her doors to everyone because she cared, but she just seems fed up all the time. I hope the actress isn't ill, and it would be good if she could get some decent storylines and get the character back on track.

I really hope Roy doesn't go. The actor might be ready to retire though - he's never seemed young, and he's been there forever. The street wouldn't be the same without him.

Eileen is touring at the moment playing a leading role in Sister Act. Bet she's enjoying the break from Corrie!

Roy I believe is around the age of 74. I would not like to see him leave- he seems to have been there forever.

ITV want to save money. A few of the actors are salaried but most are paid whenever they appear. We will see fewer people in the pub, cafe and the Bistro for that reason fairly soon.

I thought that too, but surely she will be going on a trip, or just disappearing as some characters do for months, as her baby must be due very soon. Perhaps when she returns?

Maybe Alya will be off to Norfolk to check on that supplier that Fizz just left.
