New New Corrie thread

Surely Lauren is dead because it would be difficult to keep her somewhere against her will when the murderer I assume has a daytime job so cannot be watching 24/7. We will find out soon.

I also didn’t know where Hope found this blessed necklace. TBH, it all jumped about so much..

I watched Tuesday’s episode later as I was out, and honestly thought at first they were re-showing Monday’s as it seemed to be a repeat….

And the times we have watched Roy’s mug of tea being spilt, and the ruined book….

I agree they don’t need to make Corrie into a ‘modern look’ just a straightforward storyline please that doesn’t go on for years
I do think Emmerdale has the upper hand there they seem to come to a conclusion of a lot of their more dramatic storylines much quicker than Corrie

I have never watched Emmerdale so did not realise they ended stories quicker than Corrie does. There have been so many repeats this week at times I have lost track although Wednesday's episode on the whole was better managed as my birdbrain could follow it better.

We could offer a few good writers from this small forum. I doubt if they would like our suggestions.

I wonder if they have recorded numerous possible solutions to the Lauren story to keep the spoilers at bay, then run out of money and decided to cobble () them all together (running some of them backwards to spin it out more) and are hoping we won't notice? All we need now is for Mike Baldwin to be filmed in the shower (aarrgghh!) realising that the past 20 years have all been a dream. . .

I only started watching Emmerdale this year charley as a friend was telling me bits she was a long time viewer I started watching it and got really into the characters and stories and I really enjoy it sometimes more than Corrie

I can’t remember Des who was he ?

He lived in one of the new houses with his wife Steph, and then had an affair with Denise Welsh (can't remember her character's name) who went on to have an affair with Kevin Webster and to run The Rovers for a while. He had a boat, which he kept in the back garden, and was a bit of a heartthrob for a while.

She was Natalie Barnes, a bit of a man eater.

Broke up Kev’s marriage to Sally didn’t she, but think they got back eventually, till the next affair for one or other of them.

I'm contemplating another scenario in the Lauren saga. What if Kit planted the evidence in Nathan's van, not because he has the hots for Sarah, but because he is part of a grooming gang.

Also, I wonder if Max is hiding Lauren somewhere and that's why he had the hair dye etc. But why would he let Roy take the hit? Perhaps he thought Roy would be questioned but then let out as too farcical for words that Roy would do it. I believe that Lauren is still alive.

Roll on the great revelation.

It's all getting a bit complicated. At least we know who did it now but what will happen next. I hope Hope tells someone about that necklace.

I was right for once about the identity of Lauren's boyfriend. I won't mention it in case others haven't seen tonight's episode. It's still going to drag on though.

It will take another 6 months before the real killer is identified and I will have died of boredom in the meantime. Will he keep the necklace as a souvenir that is how he will be caught but as yet I do not know why or how they will be able to search his house.

Hope could have made it easier.

Kit is involved somehow but I have not worked out yet what he has done.
