Nigel Farage on I'm a Celeb etc (sorry forgotten the name of the show)
I've never watched it before, and I dont know any of the other contestants, but could be fun.
No doubt he will be given the most gruesome challenges.🤣

There are certain programmes I watch just so I can discuss them with my family who enjoy them. It always helps if people like Boy George, Matt Cockwomble (as DSiL calls him) and Nigel Farage take part because most of the time I haven’t a clue who anyone is.

I loathe the eating trials but enjoy appearances by people I’d like to know a little more about like Mike Tindall.

Apparently Sarah Ferguson was in the running this year but she turned it down when they couldn’t guarantee that nobody would ask questions about Prince Andrew.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

I probably haven't heard of any of them except Farage and Alex Weatherman who is apparently in the Jungle this year.

Just like Strictly, merlotgran, I've only heard of two or three of them!

I like Nigel Farage he talks common sense

I find such a comment so incredible. What is 'common sense' in this context?

NO, I won't be watching.

I doubt very much that Farage is the world’s most hated man. He’s not that significant.

And no, I won’t, but then I’ve never watched the programme.

I'm not sure if they've heard of him in Australia 😁

I like Farage I think he speaks a lot of sense and knows a good deal more than most of us how the EU works - but as I’ve never watched this programme before I shan’t be bothering now, just because he’s in it.

You'r right about his experience of the EU Urmstongran

I might even vote not just watch, couldn't you be tempted, considering you quite like him?

crazyH Sun 19-Nov-23 17:41:38

I watch it every year 😂- easy watch and light relief, although I must say i enjoy it even more, if they have a few squabbles 😂

Would she have been fit enough after her op I wonder?

People would definitely ask about PA and I think H&M.

Cockwomblegringrin life has lost a lot of fun in recent years.

I'll be watching.

I also rather like Nigel. Maybe not a fan of his politics but he'll be entertaining.

I agree, I think he will be entertaining.

I'll do the same as you maddyone and pay attention to the first episode, as I don't know anyone in it either.

I'm hoping it will cheer up a dark evening with a little gossipy fun smile.

I know I'd hate being there. grin

maddyone Sun 19-Nov-23 17:15:07

Haha, I knew a thread would appear on here at some point about this.
I often watch some of this, but don’t normally watch every episode it goes on rather a long time.
Anyway I’ll definitely be watching. I need to watch tonight as I don’t have a clue who the other celebrities are, so not sure that they really are celebrities. So I’ll watch tonight and probably mostly watch after that. I’m looking forward to seeing Nigel Farage and how he copes in the jungle and with the other celebrities people.
I missed it last year as we were in New Zealand with our daughter, so no idea who was in it or who won. So it’s two years since I watched it.

Yes namsnanny Boy George was convicted of assault and false imprisonment

Namsnanny Sun 19-Nov-23 17:11:05

views = viewers

Last year they had a man on who kidnapped a vulnerable gay man, he is platformed on most TV channels, so NF who I loathe, is the least of it.

shock Did he get convicted do you know?

I suppose the name of the game is to garner viewers?

I think NF will give the views bang for their buck!

I have never watched and don’t intend to, but I would take issue with your description of Farage, OP. No, I don’t care for him but there are far more unpleasant men in this world whose names are more widely known.

Can I refer you to my replies to Chestnut, Primrose53 and MerylStreep?

Save me explaining again.

I've never watched it and can't see the point of it..

No

I'll be watching smile
I've just read this on Yahoo news though. Nigel Farage has revealed that his health issues will prevent him from taking part in certain Bushtucker Trials during his upcoming stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

Apparently he negotiated smoke breaks off camera🤣🤣
They must have wanted him pretty badly.

And a quick pint smile

He's got his head screwed on the right way. grin

I have never watched the jungle thing or any of the big Brothers either. Also never seen the only way is Essex or similar. I can’t be the only one.

You don't speak for me either. I don't watch the programme but I do like Nigel.

Enough to help him win? Every vote counts

Namsnanny Sun 19-Nov-23 16:44:59

Whitewavemark2

I’ve never watched it. It looks a revolting programme.

Some of the things they make people do are quite revolting.

Obviously the point of the show is to see how far people can be pushed, for the reward of winning and or money.

But like you Wwmk2 I've made the point of by passing this program in the past, but everyone has their price, and watching NF might just be mine grin.

How many other things would I prefer to do?
How long have you got?

So long as your list is humorous, I've all the time in the world grin.

In fact, if some of the comments you've made in the past are anything to go by, I shall look forward to it grin
