Alison I think he did it on purpose. DD and I had been commentating on his phew as she put it in Poldark and I agreed. They must have been footwigs.

I became hooked on Turkish dramas, when my health failed and I was confined to barracks. Pure escapism.

The bonus is I am also learning to speak Turkish! 🤣

Have you found Kurtlar Vadisi yet. My partner used to watch it when I lived in Turkey. Turkish men were absolutely obsessed with it.

I had a thing about Manitas de Plata when I was 13…mainly because he was a gypsy and I always wanted to grow up as a Romany.

I had Ian McCaskill on my school desk lid in 1978 when I was 13! A lot of my classmates took the -p- out of me for that as they were obsessed with that blond bloke from the Dollar singing group but I always found him utterly creepy so I'd drool over Ian instead even though he was 40 I think!

I'm an ''old'' lady at 58 and my old man crush is John de Lancie, who was Star Trek's Q. While Q is 4 billion years old, John is a mere 75 now! I think he's absolutely gorgeous!

I really like Jack on Eastenders, but my big crush is the old chap with the motorbike on the Voltarol advert-mind you, I did have a picture of Reginald Bosanquet on the lid of my desk at school!

I think I remember now I thought James Norton in Happy Valley was attractive, in spite of playing someone really, really nasty. He's about 36, I certainly can't go any younger than that! Also Welsh actor Matthew Rhys, mid forties, I believe so well out of the boyish phase.

Paul O' Grady was easy on my eye,but his sense of humour and kindness to animals really floated my boat.

Yes, I did, MS, .It was clear that the whole cast were very close and so sad that the series was ending. It was one of my all time favourites.

Marydoll where do you find Turkish dramas to watch? My favourite is the scruffy detective in Spiral, sorry I am hopeless with names. He turned up recently in another BBC4 Sat foreign drama series but was not as heart-stopping!

I watch Spiral too and the one with Inspector Schiovone.
DH is great at finding French and Italian dramas.
