Who watched this?

Tried to resurrect the old thread, but it never saw the light of day.

I had my suspicions about Eliza all along.

Found the Amy/Kirsten relationship rather tedious.

I enjoyed both series and yes I thought Eliza was involved from the second episode. I like Suranne Jones and Rose Lesley but their relationship was just too syrupy for me. I hope there’s another series.

I thought the first series was better, but quite enjoyed series two. I like Ramola Garai; good to see her in this. Rose Leslie’s accent got on my nerves after a while and I wish I had been able to hide behind rocks and run like her, in the last episode, when I was so heavily pregnant!! It could barely get out of a chair!

I enjoyed this series more than the first one probably because there was more going on. It did get a bit complicated though.

I suppose if there’s a third series it will be army based.

Complicated but a good watch. I'm always ready to accept a relationship designed to create more tension but this one between Amy and Kirsten was a step too far.

I agree about Kirsten’s accent.

Really grated on me.

And all the flying about whilst heavily pregnant. If something had happened to the baby, what a hoo haa there would have been. Wouldn’t have been her fault, of course.

We’ll catch up with the last episode tonight.

I enjoyed this one more than the first series. There was plenty of action but I did have to concentrate on the storyline. Eliza had me fooled though. I thought we would get a look at the much mentioned baby in the closing shots.

I agree Parsley I thought we would at least have a glimpse of the baby.
I also agree about all the leaping around whilst heavily pregnant, I couldn't have done that. I enjoyed the series though.

I didn’t see the first series but watched this one and quite enjoyed it. However less keen on the relationship between the two women, it was too sugary, especially as last time I saw suranne jones (?) was as gentleman jack, also with a much younger female partner..

The first series had Suranne Jones with some chap, think she was married to him. Not sure if Poppy was the daughter of both of them. Then this Kirsten seemed to appear as the new love interest, she got on my nerves, not just the accent, but her whole manner.

Not that keen on SJ either though. Always pulling her face into peculiar expressions. Same in every role she plays.

I enjoyed the first series, but didn’t enjoy this one at all, so gave up on it

Watched it but can't say I enjoyed it. Got annoyed at the risks taken whilst heavily pregnant, putting her baby at risk like that. They come across as a surly pair, not likeable. I wasn't interested in seeing the baby, just thought poor thing. I kept getting lost with the story line too.
