I once sat next to Ingrid Bergman in a hairdresser in Berkeley Square in London and just want to say that she was as beautiful and luminous in real life as she was on screen. And of course, I didn’t talk to her!

Just watching this. A film over 80 years old.

Was anyone more luminously beautiful than Ingrid Bergman? No trout pout, slug eyebrows, pumped up breasts….
